What happens when you uninstall the WhatsAble app from monday.com?
Uninstalling the WhatsAble app from your monday.com account disconnects monday.com from WhatsAble: board activity sync and WhatsApp workflow triggers stop. Your WhatsApp conversations, contacts and WhatsAble plan stay as they are.
When an admin uninstalls the WhatsAble - WhatsApp with AI app from your monday.com account, monday.com tells WhatsAble, and WhatsAble disconnects monday.com from your organization straight away. You do not need to click Disconnect in WhatsAble as well.
What stops
- Board activity sync. WhatsAble stops writing WhatsApp messages to your monday.com boards.
- WhatsApp workflow triggers. The monday.com workflows that start "When a WhatsApp message is received or sent" no longer fire. WhatsAble forgets them.
- The monday.com connection. Integrations → monday.com in WhatsAble shows monday.com as not connected, and the number settings for monday.com are removed with it.
What stays
- Your WhatsApp numbers, conversations, contacts and labels in WhatsAble.
- Your AI agents, your team inbox, and your other integrations (Zapier, Make, n8n, Pipedrive and the API).
- Your WhatsAble plan and billing. A monday.com marketplace trial or subscription event never changes your WhatsAble plan: your plan is the one you pay for in WhatsAble.
- The updates WhatsAble already wrote on your monday.com items. WhatsAble does not delete anything in monday.com.
Reconnect later
Install the app again from the monday.com marketplace, then connect it again from Integrations → monday.com in WhatsAble, as in the monday.com guide. Pick the board and columns for each number again, and turn your workflows back on in monday.com.
Uninstalling is different from Disconnect in WhatsAble. Disconnect removes the connection from the WhatsAble side and leaves the app installed in monday.com. Uninstalling removes the app from monday.com, and WhatsAble disconnects as a result.
